Wendy Atieno is working on updating the National Urban Policy database, research and data analysis globally on the State of National Urban Policies. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Nairobi. Before joining UN-Habitat, he/she worked as an intern planner in Kisumu, Kenya at a planning consultancy (Epix Spatial Studio) on Development proposals and scheme plans, spatial data collection and analysis.
