The National Urban Policy Programme

Launched during the Habitat III Conference in 2016 as a joint initiative of UN-Habitat, the OECD and Cities Alliance, the National Urban Policy Programme (NUPP) aims to contribute to the successful implementation of the New Urban Agenda (NUA) and to achieving sustainable and prosperous human settlements for all, leaving no one behind, through the development of NUPs. Its activities revolve around five main pillars:

Knowledge creation and management, capacity development, direct country support, monitoring of the progress of NUPs and engaging stakeholders, building networks and partnerships.
