Samuel Njuguna is a lawyer specializing in international comparative urban law and governance and supports UN-Habitat’s normative and country technical projects. He has vast professional experience in legislative processes, legislative drafting, capacity building and research. His areas of expertise include urban governance, physical planning law, climate change & environmental law and human rights. Samuel holds a Master’s degree in International Law (LLM) from the University of Manchester, U.K. and a Bachelor’s degree in General Law (LLB) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Kenya. He is fluent in English and Swahili.
