Rossana Poblet focuses on the policy work in the Policy, Legislation and Governance Section, specifically in Niger State, Nigeria. Prior to joining UN-Habitat, Ms. Poblet worked as a consultant in Berlin with findQ and Digital Diva Deluxe; as a researcher for the Bartlett Development Planning Unit of the University College London in the United Kingdom; as a research associate for the Institute for Landscape Planning and Ecology (ILPÖ) at the University of Stuttgart in Germany; as a liaison officer for the United Nations Mission to Kosovo; and a team leader and consultant for the Peruvian Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation – Techo Propio Programme and the Lima Metropolitan Planning Institute and the Commission of Formalisation of Property. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Stuttgart in Germany, holds a joint Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Urban Development from Technische Universität Darmstadt (TUD) in Germany and Sustainable Emergency Architecture from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) in Barcelona, Spain, and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from Universidad Ricardo Palma in Peru. Ms. Poblet is fluent in English, Spanish and German.
