Jannet Obara is a Senior Programme Management Assistant in Finance, Budgets, Administration and HR Management Support. She is providing project, programme and financial management support for PLGS. She joined PLGS in March 2020 and is the longest serving UN-Habitat staff member having completed 35 years of service on 14 October 2020. She is a Travel and Shipment Approver and Travel Local Process Expert (LPE) for UN-Habitat. Ms. Obara holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from the University of Sunderland in the U.K. She is fluent in English, Kiswahili, French and Spanish, with basic knowledge of Arabic and is currently pursuing Russian language classes.
