Anne Amin runs the activities of the newly created governance workstream within UNHabitat’s Policy, Legislation and Governance Section. She is a legal specialist with more than 20 years of international professional experience in a variety of areas, including advisory services in legislative processes, legislative drafting, capacity building and research. Her areas of expertise include urban governance, physical planning law and human rights. Ms Amin holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Helsinki, Finland, with a specialization in International Tax Law and a Master’s degree in International Law from the University of Paris VIII, France. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Finnish.
