Duk Hwan, Son is working on National Urban Policies in PLGS. He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Seoul National University in Korea, and a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Kyung-Pook National University in Korea. Before joining UN-Habitat, he worked for key departments of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) of Korea for more than 15 years. He took charge of the Metropolitan Transport Policy Division, the Regional Policy Division, and the Logistics Policy Division. He also served other Korean government agencies including the Prime Minister’s Office as team manager, and Daegu Metropolitan City as deputy director. He is fluent in English and Korean.
